Where Does the Money Go?

APEX Fun Run percentages are based on the amounts pledged.

Last year at LCM we received 60% of the cash proceeds

with 10% of the proceeds going directly to the students' classrooms!

In 2017-2018 we took in $66,978.97 and paid out $6,548.28 to the teachers leaving a net to the PTO budget of $60,430.69! Way to go LCM!!!

APEX’s portion is going towards a service they are providing to our school. Included in this service is:

• several weeks of pre-planning
• a fun Assembly
• 2 weeks of daily leadership and fitness lessons provided by the APEX Staff
• daily leadership lesson bracelets
• daily prizes, incentives, and parties
• race day T-shirts
• website service for collections

• a special 5th Grade Color Run!
• AND a day-long Fun Run event!!!

In previous years, we have done this type of fun run on our own. This required 20+ volunteers to form a committee and weeks of planning. After all of their hard work, they only managed to raise $16,000. The fact that APEX can raise this amount, give back to the teachers directly and earn 60% back is amazing!!! When we have researched other fundraisers like cookie dough, wrapping paper etc... all of those companies cap the earnings at 50% back to the school of proceeds earned.

LCM used the funds earned last year to pay for 2 GaGa Ball Pits, Playground Games, Science Garden and Art Teacher Salaries, Art and Music Supplies, Technology Devices, Books and Materials for our Classrooms, and to Support Our Curriculum through Enrichment Assemblies and Experiences.

ALL FUNDS RAISED BENEFIT ALL LCM STUDENTS,

THEIR LEARNING EXPERIENCE, AND THEIR CLASSROOMS.

The services provided by APEX have been an impressive addition to our school's fundraising efforts, and we are proud to have them back at our school this year.
